WHAT'S NEXT?

Currently, there are no approved FDA treatments to help regenerate the spinal cord. It could be 10 years before the the FDA approves the epidural stimulator. Likewise the NVG-291 drug has shown great success with rodents; however, human trials is another obstacle. The FDA is fast tracking this drug, but human trials are still just beginning. It could be years before any approval is gained.

 

We ask for those on social media to share Makayla's story. The success stories from Verita Neuro are game changing for someone in Makayla's position. Our hope is that as her story gains traction and we can gain enough support to fund a spinal implant for her.
